With US stock futures trading lower this morning on Friday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects American Express Company AXP to report quarterly earnings at $2.41 per share on revenue of $13.50 billion before the opening bell. American Express shares rose 1.5% to $144.62 in pre-market trading.
  • Snap Inc. SNAP reported its slowest sales growth since going public. Snap announced a $500-million buyback Thursday along with its financial results. The company said due to the “operating environment” it will not provide guidance on revenue or adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter. Snap shares dipped 25.9% to $8.00 in pre-market trading.
  • Analysts are expecting Verizon Communications Inc. VZ to have earned $1.29 per share on revenue of $33.78 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Verizon shares gained 0.3% to $37.10 in after-hours trading.

  • Analysts expect Schlumberger Limited SLB to post quarterly earnings at $0.56 per share on revenue of $7.15 billion after the closing bell. Schlumberger shares fell 0.5% to $45.47 in pre-market trading.
